We’ve written before about how much we love our trusty Lonely Planet guides – and for a limited time this January you can get 30% off nearly everything in the Lonely Planet e-shop.

Head over to the website and you’ll find 30% already deducted from all in-stock print guides, ebooks, print+ebook bundles and individual PDF chapters, with over 500 travel titles covering 195 countries to choose from.

The only exclusions from the promotion are print bundles (which already include great discounts all year round), and print and ebook pre-orders.

With the rain refusing to let up here in the North East this week – and the sun nowhere to be seen – it’s a good time to be thinking about travelling abroad, or at least looking forward to when the weather improves.

We’ve already snapped up a copy of Lonely Planet’s latest guide to Austria, now in its 7th edition, to prepare us for our two-week holiday in the mountains in July – and though it seems a long way off, past experience suggests that it will come round in no time.
