Inghams – Ski, Lakes and Mountains Holidays
Since 1934, Inghams has grown into one of the UK’s leading specialist tour operators, offering winter ski holidays and Santa Breaks, and summer ‘Lakes and Mountains’ holidays.
Inghams’ history has enabled it to build deep and long-lasting relationships with its partner hoteliers and resorts, fundamental in ensuring the best ski holiday for every guest.
Today, this shines through in the trust between the hotels and Inghams’ resort reps – and the warm welcome is extended to Inghams guests. Many loyal guests have been travelling with Inghams for over 25 years.
Inghams has recently been voted ‘Best Activity and Adventure Operator 2016’ by Travel Weekly & the Mail (Globe Travel Awards) and ‘Top Ten Tour Operator’ by Which? Magazine.
Ski and snowboarding holidays
Inghams features over 80 ski resorts across Europe and North America. The programme provides an enviable mix of quality accommodation and resorts, from best-loved destinations to exclusive hideaways.
Package holiday prices include flights and transfers, and with a large range of convenient regional departures, guests can choose to fly direct from 21 airports, take the train, or self drive.
‘Lakes and Mountains’ holidays
Inghams offers a comprehensive selection of Lakes & Mountains holidays across Europe and North America, including stunning lakeside, mountain and coastal resorts, multi-centre options, tours, cruises, walking holidays, cycling holidays, spa holidays and city breaks.
Departing in November and December, Inghams’ family Santa Breaks to Lapland are a great way to get into the festive spirit.
They offer a whole host of activities such as a visit to Santa’s workshops, making gingerbread with the elves, meeting Comet the reindeer, and, of course, a private family meeting with Santa Claus himself.
There is also a choice of optional adventures, such as husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris, downhill skiing/snowboarding, or an evening excursion in search of the amazing Northern Lights.
Arctic thermal over-suits and snow-boots are included for all adults and children over 2 years old (but the breaks are not recommended for infants).
Winter breaks to Norway’s northern fjords
These new and exclusive winter breaks are worthy of a bucket list. Inghams’ unique itineraries will introduce you to this wonderful region and its stunning scenery, and include unforgettable experiences such as boat trips on the fjords to visit authentic Sami camps, opportunities to spot the local wildlife, and a special guided evening excursion into the wilderness to find the best Northern Lights viewing spots.
Three and four-night stays are available, departing in February and March. All winter breaks include a wide range of activities (as outlined in each itinerary), as well as direct flights, transfers and catered accommodation.
Inghams Plus means great added-value offers on holidays, such as free daily packed lunches, free bike hire, free afternoon tea and cake, free excursions, no single supplements or discounts on local attractions.
Look out for the ‘Inghams Plus’ logo and information alongside your chosen holiday to see which offers apply to your hotel and resort.
