Want to know the UK’s top motorhome destinations? We reveal all…
We realised a few days ago that we haven’t covered caravans or motorhomes much at the Holiday & Travel Directory before – but we really should, as caravanning is a part of UK holidaymaking that’s really on the rise, with an annual 51 million nights spent in caravans at the latest count.
And if recent sales of new vehicles are anything to go by, Britain’s staycation trend shows little sign of abating just yet. According to figures revealed by the National Caravan Council earlier this month, 2015 saw an impressive 10.3% increase in the sale and dispatch of new touring caravans, motorhomes and caravan holiday homes in the UK compared to the previous year.
So, it’s an opportune time for our friends at Amber Motorhomes to have produced a great infographic that showcases ten of the best motorhome destinations in the UK.
From places awash with breathtaking scenery to vibrant tourist hotspots, read on to find out Amber Motorhomes’ recommendations – and, as ever, feel free to tell us your own must-visit motorhome destinations!
